Our mission is to serve youth, community and artists with an emphasis on diversity by producing innovative and exhilarating theater. By exploring timely themes and issues through original works and modern theatrical classics, ETC develops and nurtures emerging and professional artists by collaborating with, businesses, our community, and the Emerson College Network of alumni and students.

Our goals include reaching youth through educational theatrical programming, to support our local communities by providing free admission to our performances to low-income families and donating profits to humanitarian causes.
The Emerson Theater Collaborative (ETC) was established on April 7, 2008, as a new professional theater company to serve Southeastern Connecticut, and now we serve Sedona AZ and surrounding areas with innovative and thought-provoking theatrical productions, and received its 501C3 status on July 24, 2009. The Emerson Theater Collaborative opened its debut production in Sedona AZ of A Christmas Carol A Radio Play by Philip Grecian in December 2016 at the Collective Sedona. The production was produced and directed by local village residents Camilla Ross and John Reynolds.

Our second production opened February 14th, 2017 with Love Letters by A. R. Gurney featuring local sedona residents Lisa Glinsky and Michael Peach.

The Emerson Theater Collaborative has been operating a summer youth theatre program for five years in Mystic, CT and now and will open its first summer youth theater camp in Sedona AZ in the summer of 2017 with a production of Stolen Fire.

The Emerson Theater Collaborative would like to produce at least three productions each year. What’s next? An original play by written by playwright Scott Stephen Kegler called Nothing Crazy. A play on mental health.

In December 2017 ETC will produce a Christmas show for the public.
