Presentations, live music, local food and entertainment.  Meet organizations and vedors from our region who "grow healthy communities" and attend the Keynote address GROWING HEALTHY SOIL by Michael Melendrez, internationally accliamed founder of "Soil Secrets".

10:30-11:30am - Presentation: SLOWWATER IN YOUR BACKYARD AND ACROSS OUR WATERSHED by Marianna Hartsong & Ryan Matson (Slow Water Team).  1) Guidelines on how to slow spread, harvest, and sink water, 2) Grow earth on your property, 3) Success stories 

Noon-1:30pm - Presentation: SOLAR GREEN HOUSES FOR YEAR-ROUND GROWING by Joseph Costian & Kim Howell-Costian of Ashokala Gardens.  Designing a solar green house for year round growing.

2:30-4pm - Keynote Address: SOIL SECRETS - GROWING HEALTHY SOIL by Michael Melendrez. The products that Michael developed under the name "Soil Secrets" are  based on the natural life in the soil and restore abused soils to a healthy, living environment that promotes plant health growth, and resistance to drought and literally "turns dirt into soil".  Mr. Melendrez's presentation will include an overview of his research and experience with humic acids as the key to soil health; soil secrets like increasing carbon and mychorrhizl fungus, reducing salts, eliminating toxins, and increasing nutrients and water absorbtion.
